About

Makaylah Fazzari is an artist and illustrator who has been drawing for as long as she has been able to hold a pencil. Her earliest work has been described as “scribbles resembling unicellular organisms”, which eventually evolved into mostly coherent, representational art. As a published illustrator, she works in a number of styles, typically featuring a playful but mildly dark sense of humor with an edge of sincere tenderness. She dabbles in all media but specializes in digital media and linoleum printing.

Based in Redding, CA, Makaylah volunteers at the Art Hunger gallery and participates frequently in local shows and public art events. She hosts a no-cost monthly art night with unique activities at the Art Hunger Gallery on the second Wednesday of each month.

Her work has been featured in the North American Review, North State Parent magazine, Glance, and The Flow.

She is currently available for commissions and freelance work. Email for details, makaylahfazzari@gmail.com.
